ADAPT is a national grass-roots community that organizes disability rights activists to engage in nonviolent direct action, including civil disobedience, to assure the civil and human rights of people with disabilities to live in freedom.

AdLib, Inc. is a private, non-profit, community based, consumer controlled, Independent Living Center. The Center provides independent living and specialized services for people with disabilities in Berkshire County. AdLib empowers people with disabilities to live more independently and have control of their own lives.

The Charles River Center (formerly Charles River Arc) is a private, nonprofit human service agency in Needham, Massachusetts, providing employment and job training, residential homes, therapeutic day programs, and recreational programs for children and adults with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.

Minute Man Arc for Human Services, Inc. (MMAHS) was founded in 1958 by a group of local families to provide services for their children with disabilities. Over its 53 year history, the Agency has grown into a full service provider offering programs and services to children and adults as well as their families.

BCIL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has provided services to people with disabilities since the organization’s founding in 1974, when it became the second independent living center in the country. The organization was created by people with disabilities seeking full integration into society. BCIL accomplishes this by empowering people with disabilities with the practical skills and self-confidence to take control over their lives and become active members of the communities in which they live.

The Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled (CORD) has been aggressively working since 1984 to advance the independence, productivity, and integration of people with disabilities, including deaf and hard of hearing people, into mainstream society.

Our mission: through inspiration, support and encouragement, Employment Options creates a home-away-from-home, where people can overcome barriers to employment and discover personal growth, self-sufficiency and hope.

The Glens Falls Association for the Blind, Inc., is an independent, private, non-profit organization, founded in 1935. We are dedicated to preventing blindness and promoting the well-being of blind and visually impaired persons in all ways. The Association is committed to equipping visually limited persons with the skills needed for independent and productive life in the community.

Independence Associates, Inc. (IA) was established in 1980 as a Center for Independent Living. IA works with people with disabilities so that they can live as independently as they wish to within the community. Living independently allows individuals dignity and freedom. IA will work with anyone with a disability who lives in our 31 town service area.
