Job Responsibilities
Yarde Metals is looking for a Class B CDL Driver to join our Operations Team in Mansfield, MA! A Class B Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a a commercial truck to make local deliveries to our customers.
- SAFETY FIRST!
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
- Load and unload material.
- Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
- Verify material condition and quantities during the loading/unloading process.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs.
- Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Always represent the company in a professional, courteous, and presentable manner.
Requirements
***This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position: requires operating heavy machinery.***
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Class B CDL driver's license and clean MVR
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Minimum 6 months driving experience strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a drug test, physical, human performance evaluation, and background check
- Capable of meeting physical requirements of the position
- Willingness to work overtime
