The Medical Surgical ICU RN will be responsible for:
  • Providing care to patients with life-threatening/potentially life-threatening conditions which are complex, progressive and rapidly changing medically, surgically and traumatically for patients ranging in age from newborn to early-adulthood.
  • Working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with many opportunities for learning and career growth with comprehensive orientation to meet individual needs.
  • Working a day/night rotating schedule and every third weekend.

    To qualify, you must have:

    • 1 year of RN experience required; 2 years experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred - pediatric or adult ICU preferred.
    • BSN required.

    The Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) provides post-surgical care for children and young adults, following general surgery, transplantation, neurosurgery, craniofacial reconstruction, orthopedic surgery and trauma. Our MISCU has one of the highest volume pediatric intensive care units in the U.S. and is one of the largest extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) centers.
