Responsibilities
    Relationship Building: As a key player in our sales team, you will establish, develop, and maintain robust business relationships with current and prospective customers across the assigned region. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating new business opportunities for Bruker's FT-NMR BT solutions across various market verticals, making you an integral part of our success.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: We trust in your ability to understand our diverse customer base's unique value chains, critical success factors, and key initiatives. This insight will be the foundation for developing account plans and sales strategies that effectively address their needs, making you a trusted partner in our customer relationships.

  • Sales Excellence: Your primary goal is to meet or exceed defined sales volume targets. Your ability to communicate the value of our product line will be crucial in achieving this success; as part of that process, you will be required to evaluate customer needs and negotiate contracts.

  • Market Insights: Keep a keen eye on competitive and market trends. Share your observations with the commercial organization and relevant stakeholders, including Market and Product Management. Dive deep into the FT-NMR BT market landscape and stay informed about technology developments, business opportunities, and industrial regulations. Collaborate closely with Regional and Market Sales teams to drive sales.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales-related information in our company's CRM system (SalesForce.com). This includes leads, accounts, opportunities, and sales funnel management.

  • Proposal Excellence: Craft clear and effective written proposals and quotations using our company's quoting tools, SAP. Maintain quoted prices within pre-defined pricing matrices and negotiate contract terms within company guidelines.

  • Customer Advocacy: Coordinate efforts to address customer concerns and complaints. Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Industry Engagement: Participate in relevant trade shows and conferences. Represent Bruker and stay connected with industry developments.

  • Versatility: Be ready to take on other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our sales team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Molecular Biology is required, an advanced degree being a plus * 3-5 years of life sciences sales work experience promoting and selling benchtop NMRinstruments
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAP
  • English fluency with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Additional languages desirable
  • Strong organizational, time, and project management skills with excellent follow-up and response
  • Highly self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and collaborative work experience within a global, multi-cultural organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships effectively
  • Team player with the ability to build confidence and establish strong cooperative relationships with personnel throughout the company, customer base, and with key individuals within the industry
  • Flexible attitude to working hours, which are sometimes influenced by factors such as the need to complete the job or the availability of the client
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License in good standing
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status is preferred
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation
