Description
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the overall management of various athletic fields on the property of Gillette Stadium. These athletic fields include the stadium field, football training fields, soccer training fields and Empower Field House.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the personnel assigned to the field crew as well as other tasks to include:
- Time & Attendance Management
- Work Assignments
- Performance Reviews
- Recruiting
- At the direction of the Field Superintendent, manage the procurement of product, contractors and other required resources.
- Manage external resources to comply with contracted duties and performance standards. This include:
- Irrigation
- Landscaping
- Snow Removal
- Generate best practices as they relate to the general maintenance of all athletic fields including mowing and repairing.
- Manage various maintenance programs to include:
- Equipment Maintenance/Inventory
- Turf Treatment Programs
- Oversee other projects at the direction of the Field Superintendent.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position supervises multiple hourly field crew staff.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years' experience preferably in sports related industry
- Experience with payroll, materials and equipment
- Bachelor's degree preferred to work independently and supervise others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
- Small Carpentry and small mechanical skills
- Ability to read and understand field layout a plus
- Preparation of budget including
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Ability to operate a Forklift, Backhoe, and Loader
- General labor work
- Ability to move 50 lbs.
