As the Senior Payroll Analyst, you will work onsite in Andover, MA. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will manage the administration of the daily payroll operations and accuracy of one weekly and 11 bi-weekly US and Canada multi-state payrolls working in a team environment. You will also be the primary contact for employees and managers to answer urgent payroll related questions and offer solutions promptly.

You Will:
  • Take ownership for the processing and auditing of all payroll data for hourly and exempt employees on both weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly pay cycles using UKG Pro before finalizing payroll.
  • Lead and take ownership of the Canada payroll processing transition to the US in Summer 2024, acting as the primary contact for our Canada HR Business Partners and employees.
  • Administer wage garnishments, and ensure certain deductions are within jurisdictional requirements.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and tax withholding on employee wages, benefits, etc.
  • Process expense reimbursements from Workday to UltiPro. Work with Shared Services to reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed journal entries for posting to General Ledger.
  • Respond to employment verification and unemployment insurance claim inquiries
  • Assist with quarter-end and year-end agency reporting, audits and adjustments.
  • Help track and monitor the resolution of employment tax notices.
  • Subject matter expert for UKG Pro's Time & Attendance system (UTA) and setup and maintenance of all PTO Plans including Union.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience processing Canada and multi-state payrolls with varying degrees of complexity and multiple payroll frequencies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting of online timekeeping system with the ability to interpret and understand complex calculations of pay policies.
  • Knowledge of ERP, HRIS and Time & Attendance systems. Workday, UKG Pro and/or UTA.
