As the Product Liability and Insurance Risk Management Manager, you will work onsite in North Andover, MA and report to the Assistant General Counsel. You will manage the product liability claims handling process, management of third party administrator for claims handling, and assessing, renewing and placing Global corporate-wide property, casualty, workers' compensation, and overall insurance portfolio (Risk Management Program).

You Will:
  • Establishes and manages relationships with various risk management and insurance consultants and vendors, including brokers and agents.

  • Complete insurance renewals, extensions and endorsement of changes and acquire new and specialized types of insurance coverage; complete insurance policy audits and/or premium verifications; reviews contracts for appropriateness.

  • Coordinate administrative aspects to the maintenance of insurance and risk financing programs, including any self-funded programs.

  • Evaluate, monitor and manage all property and casualty claims for the corporation together with brokers, insurance carriers and the third party claims administrator.

  • Handle high exposure and severity liability claims and property claims, regarding accident and incident investigations; communicate status and collaborates with legal counsel.

  • Manage, organize, lead and assess workers' compensation program regarding risk financing and risk control techniques.

  • Support legal counsel and senior management in managing litigated and complex claims.

  • Identify and analyze risks and hazards to which employees, consumers and general public or property may be exposed.

You Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration or related field.

  • 5+ years-experience, with risk management and risk control techniques related to property, casualty, product liability and workers' compensation exposures, and renewing and placing Global corporate-wide property, casualty, workers' compensation, and overall insurance portfolio or related experience; product liability claims handling process, management of third party administrator for claims handling, and assessing (Risk Management Program)

  • Industry certification such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Professional Risk Manager (PRM).

  • Experience in a corporate Risk Management organization, Insurance Broker or Insurance underwriting organization. Must have a fundamental understanding of property and casualty insurance program concepts and terminology.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk management principles.

  • Demonstrated management experience and possess the ability to direct others.
