As the Network Security Engineer, you will work remote or onsite in North Andover, MA. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Security, you will work with internal engineering teams to transform the network security architecture across the organization.

You Will:
  • Support network and security infrastructure and controls, including Routers, Switches, SD-WAN, Firewalls, VPN, TACACS, netflow-based tools.
  • Evaluate new security technologies, hardware, and software and maintaining multiple toolsets, including IPS/IDS systems.
  • Assist in the prompt investigation of security incidents and be prepared to isolate and remediate incidents pursuant to established procedures.
  • Guide the integration and ongoing monitoring of Network/Infrastructure system events and alerts into SecOps.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience in IT networking
  • 3+ years of IT security experience
  • Certification on any of the FW platforms, namely Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco.
  • Understanding of all aspects of cyber security and ability to manage security escalations.
  • Practical experience in implementing and managing common security technologies, e.g., Firewalls, authentication solutions, etc.
  • Experience with security-relevant data, including TCP/IP network protocols, application layer protocols (e.g., HTTP, SMTP, and DNS), and security-relevant host and network logs.
  • Background in VPN configurations, Cryptographic controls, certificate/key management.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
