SUMMARY: The Event Manager role is integral part to major events at Gillette Stadium that will interface with virtually every department. This position is responsible for the event management of New England Patriots Games, Training Camp, Concerts, and other major ticketed events hosted at Gillette Stadium events. This includes the scheduling of all event staff and positions associated with security or service and the creation of all event documentation in support of the event. Other areas of responsibility include uniform and equipment distribution, gate setup, security screening equipment maintenance and event day trainings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage all assigned events and ensure they are scheduled appropriately to the approved staffing plan
  2. Ensure consistent enforcement of the following for scheduled staff working Patriots or Concert events: attendance policy, allocation of sick/vacation time, event allocation and transfer codes, and timely approval of timecards by the payroll deadline
  3. Develop deployment templates for assigned events based on the anticipated attendance, areas in use and scope of the event
  4. Develop and communicate clear, detailed staff "post order" directives for assigned events
  5. Collaborate on training, development and scheduling of event day staff
  6. Ensure that event support documents including event notes, deployment sheets, and other staff/stadium support documents are accurately developed and delivered no later than 24 hours prior to the event
  7. Maintain all records pertaining to all events including incident reports, supervisor post-event reports, etc.
  8. Liaison between TeamOps and business partners to fully understand business needs, support stadium initiatives, and work collaboratively to drive results
  9. Attend all operational meetings between TeamOps and client event representatives
  10. Responsible for all invoicing of assigned events within 72 hours of event reconciliation
  11. Create and maintain weekly briefing summaries to senior management including follow-up on client complaints, operational challenges and fixes, supervisor notes summary, supervisor debrief recaps and other event related information
  12. Communicate challenges/recommendations for improving operations to senior management in a timely manner with an emphasis on operational excellence and efficiency
  13. Oversee the maintenance and handling of TeamOps golf carts, security screening equipment and other event related equipment
  14. Assist with Super Bowl Trophy appearances, new hire orientations and recruitment events on an as needed basis
  15. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  16. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Event Coordinator
  • Supervises event staff

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in event operations
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team oriented with a desire to mentor and develop those around you

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Generally located in administrative office during business hours, and will maintain a floating schedule
  • Required to be on call 24/7 and will require night, weekend, and holiday work
  • Event Venue, noise level in the work environment is typically loud
  • Densely populated on event day
