As a leader in cyber risk management, Program Management plays a vital role in our continuous improvement journey by driving strategic initiatives and programs. We are seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join this team to manage high-impact cross-organizational strategic programs across the company and to help to continue to build out this Office and the Program Management culture at Bitsight.

You will be reporting to our Program Manager and partnering with multiple stakeholders across the organization within Finance, IT/Systems, Product/Engineering, and Sales and Marketing. You will be the single point of accountability for overall project management across multiple cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that the projects are delivered on time, within budget, and delivering the committed business value. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage project scope and requirements alongside cross-functional project team and stakeholders

  • Create long- and short-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and delegating tasks among team members, depending upon skill and responsibilities

  • Be able to adapt and adjust schedules as needs for the project change

  • Identify dependencies with other projects/programs and manage those carefully

  • Manage project status reports and varying levels of communication with executive sponsors and stakeholders across all the stages of the project life cycle

  • Responsible for risk, issue, and change control management

  • Serve as the point of contact for teams to ensure project actions remain in synergy

  • Regularly perform quality control on the project to maintain expected standards

  • Ensure all documentation is updated and maintained to include project initiation documents, plans, risk and issue logs, change control documents, and any other relevant information for the project

  • May also be responsible for motivating the project team and resolving conflicts between team members to ensure a productive work environment

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • 2-5 years of experience in IT/Software industry, including experience successfully managing large-scale projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management or equivalent

  • Excellent written and verbal skills; demonstrated negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and demonstrable leadership qualities in a matrixed environment

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Ability to work in a team and independently

  • Great interpersonal relations

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban

  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Airtable preferred but not required

  • Experience working for a SaaS company a plus

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US$65,000 to $80,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant.
