POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Business Development Executive reports to the Corporate VP, Supply America & GPOS
  • Located in Mansfield, MA
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid
  • Required product knowledge (tabletop, supplies, equipment)

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering strong relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to influence decision-makers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New Business Development:
    • Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and industry research.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and achieve sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue strategic partnerships that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to penetrate new markets, increase market share, and stay ahead of competitors.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals:
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of our products or services.
    • Customize proposals to address the specific needs and requirements of each client.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
    • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM software.
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
    • Provide feedback and insights from client interactions to inform product development and marketing strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in the technology, software, or SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
