Job Description

Position Overview

The Project Manager, PINS (Payee Identification and Network Security) will report to the Sr Director overseeing Zelis Payments' Fraud, Risk Management, and Identity Verification organization (PINS). The PINS team centrally manages Fraud, Onboarding/Verifications, and Account Servicing for Zelis clients, addressing issues related to account takeover, business identification, bank account validation, and more.

This individual contributor role, under the Sr. Director of PINS, will drive projects aligned with corporate and business-level objectives. Collaborating with business operations, risk, product, and business unit leaders, the role involves gaining diverse perspectives, gathering decision-making information, and supporting initiatives focused on process optimization, system automation, and balancing risk, expense, and experience in the Zelis Payment Network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting leadership in establishing and overseeing operational risk policies and tools

  • Building a deep understanding of PINS team functions to provide support and recommendations

  • Developing and maintaining relationships across the organization to support the PINS department strategically

  • Leading cross-functional projects to enhance PINS processes.

  • Analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing impactful recommendations

  • Identifying and addressing risks and issues in projects, processes, and systems

  • Acting as a liaison, consulting with internal and external stakeholders to improve control measurements, metrics, and reporting

  • Documenting processes, procedures, roles & responsibilities, and managing updates

  • Meeting critical timelines, working independently, and prioritizing projects

  • Influencing and communicating effectively with stakeholders

  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the PINS department

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of operational or project management experience

  • Experience in payments, anti-fraud, anti-abuse, Trust & Safety, or Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with payment monitoring, optimization, or customer risk scoring/modeling

  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence

  • Professional Certification such as PMP

  • Agile Framework and methodologies experience
