Summary of Role:

The External Communications Manager is responsible for contributing to the strategic development and implementation of external communication initiatives that promote awareness and engagement among key stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with the company's Purpose and Values.

Primary responsibilities:

* Support in the development, implementation and execution of a comprehensive communications program for external audiences to communicate key messages on company strategy and help drive brand awareness
* Assist with drafting press releases and corresponding talking points/Q&A, PowerPoint presentations, and specific internal communications, based on the needs of the business
* Disseminate company press releases via appropriate platform, as needed
* Facilitate the review, approval and distribution of press releases, corporate collateral, social media postings and other communications, as needed
* Assist with company public relations efforts, including planning, writing and pitching
* Assist in developing the social media strategy and executing across multiple social channels and monitoring all channels
* Contribute to the creation and editing of content on the company's websites
* Coordinate activities with outside communications agencies and vendors regarding external messages
* Support executives with communications and content for social media, media interviews, external speaking engagements, presentations, and scripts.
* Partner with internal communications to ensure a cohesive, integrated approach to communications
* Ensure all materials are accurate, clear and consistent with Lantheus' brand and messaging and consistent across the organization

Qualifications Required:

* Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communications skills - purposefully creative storytelling
* Experience in communications in scientific or healthcare-related field
* Experience working on external communications campaigns
* Possesses clear ability to manage multiple projects at once while demonstrating strong composure, attention to detail and flexibility under tight deadlines
* Team player, ability to build strong relationships internally across functional areas and externally with vendors, suppliers, and other constituents
* Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, prioritize deadlines and effectively work through challenges in a fast-paced environment
* Self-starter, highly motivated, and ability to work independently

* Handle all matters with high level of discretion and confidentiality
* Ability to perform other related duties, as required
* Ability to travel occasionally, as required

Technical Skills Required:

* In depth knowledge of general business operations and excellent communications skills are required
* Knowledge of the radiopharmaceutical business is a plus
* Knowledge of clinical vocabulary is preferred
* Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Minimum Education and Experience:

* BA or BS required, preferably with a degree or emphasis in Communications or related filed
* Minimum of 5 years of communications experience; agency experience is a plus
