Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Walpole, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As a Buyer, you will provide outstanding service to internal stakeholders by validating and satisfying requirements efficiently and effectively, as well as interfacing with internal supplier management teams and external suppliers.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, working across all areas of the business and regions
  • Prioritize, plan, and manage daily workflow, purchasing tasks, status, and reporting
  • Perform standard purchasing transactional and administrative tasks
  • Ensure supplier selection and sourcing recommendations are under agreed commodity strategies and commercial frameworks
  • Operating and complying with all purchasing processes, procedures, and systems
  • Identifying and recommending workflow process efficiency improvements

  • Starting Pay: $42.50 / Hourly.
  • Hours: 8/40 Hrs/Wk
  • Length: Temp (24 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree
  • JD/PhD Degree
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain management in a US Defense manufacturing environment
