Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Materials Management Operations Manager, the Inventory Controller/Coordinator maintains the Materials Management Stat Room, ensuring accurate inventory of approximately $500K and 1000 line items of emergent supplies. Will also focus on sourcing sourcing urgent items resulting from backorders, recalls, or allocation restrictions.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
* High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
* 2 years of experience in shipping & receiving, internal distribution and inventory management preferred
Knowledge and Skills
* Proficient computer and data entry skills; MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Effective organizational skills
* Experience with inventory tracking/management and barcode technology.
* Process Improvement Skills
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work proactively work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Environment:
* Fast-paced and demanding environment handling incoming calls, assisting customers, providing support, and adapting to priority changes.
* May assist in other Materials Management operations, manual labor (lift/move up to 40 pounds)
* On feet most of 8-hour shift, exposure to outdoor weather, frequent visits to multiple external NWH buildings and docks as needed.
