The Senior Human Resource Generalist - Labor Relations and Training Specialist will have a pivotal role in fostering positive labor relations within our organization and ensuring our employees possess the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.
- Lead and manage the investigation process.
- Collaborate with management and labor unions to address labor-related issues and disputes.
- Provide guidance on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Engage in negotiations and grievance resolution processes.
- Monitor and analyze labor-related trends.
- Evaluate the training needs of employees and departments.
- Create, develop, and deliver training programs and materials.
- Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees for skill enhancement.
- Develop, interpret, manage, and recommend policies and practices based on workforce trends.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual Preferred: Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL UP TO 50% OF THE TIME
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of Four (4) years of Employee Relations experience.
- Strong Knowledge of Labor Laws and Regulations.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- PHR or SHRM Certification.
- Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
