What will you do as a Labor Relations and Training Specialist?
The Senior Human Resource Generalist - Labor Relations and Training Specialist will have a pivotal role in fostering positive labor relations within our organization and ensuring our employees possess the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles.
  • Lead and manage the investigation process.
  • Collaborate with management and labor unions to address labor-related issues and disputes.
  • Provide guidance on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Engage in negotiations and grievance resolution processes.
  • Monitor and analyze labor-related trends.
  • Evaluate the training needs of employees and departments.
  • Create, develop, and deliver training programs and materials.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees for skill enhancement.
  • Develop, interpret, manage, and recommend policies and practices based on workforce trends.
  •  Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary.
What do you need to be successful:
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual Preferred: Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL UP TO 50% OF THE TIME
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of Four (4) years of Employee Relations experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of Labor Laws and Regulations.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred qualifications & educational background:
  • PHR or SHRM Certification.
  • Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
