Join our winning team as an IT Specialist - SAP Finance (FI) & Controlling (CO) Modules to be located at Olin's Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO (St. Louis area) or a virtual location in the United States.Additional locations may include Charleston, TN or Houston (Katy), TX. This position is also eligible for ahybridwork schedule. This functional IT Specialist will be part of a team supporting ongoing operations and also includes the design and implementation of enhancements, support upgrades and might also require participation in projects through the entire System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

IT Specialist - SAP Finance (FI) & Controlling (CO) Modules Essential Job Functions:

  • Stays abreast of SAP releases and new functionality and makes related recommendations to internal business customers and IT management.
  • Collaborates with internal business customers and other support team members, understanding global business process, plan and implement changes in production environment of SAP S4.
  • Documents scope and requirements for enhancements, changes, and breakages
    • Develops and documents detailed requirements.
    • Performs required configuration changes.
    • Documents and communicates needed programming changes.
    • Performs initial testing of enhancements, changes, and break-fixes.
    • Collaborates with internal business customers and other support team members to plan and execute user acceptance testing for new and modified processes and systems components.
  • Ensures that issues are handled end-to-end in terms of integration with other SAP modules.
  • Liaises with cross-functional project teams - across geographies, on a global scale.
  • Ensures compliance with Change Control procedures for on-going changes, enhancements and projects and maintain operational procedures around supported environments.
  • Maintains Document Repository for business and IT processes.
IT Specialist - SAP Finance (FI) & Controlling (CO) Modules Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree* required; Information Technology, Computer Science or Accounting disciplines preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with SAP Finance module.
  • Must be able to support all parts of the SAP FI/CO configuration including but not limited to:
    • Accounts Receivable
    • FSCM Credit/Collections/Disputes Management
    • Product Costing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to work in team oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and/or experience:
  • Knowledge of the integration points with Sales and Distribution and/or Materials Management and/or Production Planning.
  • Knowledge of electronic bank statements and/or integration with banks.
  • Experience with supporting global operations with locations such as Brazil, Mexico, Europe, etc.
  • Experience with SAP Analysis for Office.
  • Knowledge of S/4 HANA suite of applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud solutions (SAC, Datasphere, etc.).
  • Experience working with outsourced AMS provider.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM.
  • Experience with third-party tax engines and SAP tax integration (OneSource, etc.).

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $93,100 - $135,000. This salary is only an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
