Hybrid Project Manager: Transportation

Salary: Minimum base $100k + Bonus Eligibility

What you'll be doing:

* Provide leadership to coordinate the multi-functional team (10-25 team members).

* Manage project activities and team meetings.

* Coordinate with project team members and outside contractors.

* Ensure proper cross function buy-in throughout the project.

* Provide clear communication to Directors and Senior Leadership.

* Develop accurate, timely, and realistic project plans using Microsoft Project.

* Track progress versus plan and identify potential scheduling issues early in the process.

* Proactively develop contingency plans/creative solutions to ensure the project is completed on time.

* Develop measurement tools to track performance after project implementation to determine overall success of the initiative.

* Develop presentation to update senior management on project progress.

* Evaluate tactical project decisions utilizing economic analysis.

* Work with cross functional teams to determine key metrics that will track the project's progress as well as its success.

What you bring to the table:

* Strong oral and written communication skills.

* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving.

* Possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment.

* Eagerness and ability to learn - absorb new information quickly.

* Knowledge of PC applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point and Access).

* Ability to motivate and empower team members.

* Ability to apply analytical tools throughout projects.

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience.

* 8+ years of related work experience.

* This position requires up to 40% travel.

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

* Process Excellence or PMP certification strongly preferred.
