All firms are competing for the attention of clients, prospects, members of the media, and industry influencers. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Brand and Communications, the PR and Social Media Manager is responsible for the strategy and development of two critical channels to reach our target audiences: Public relations and social media. These are two priority marketing channels for BBH and we are looking for and experienced PR professional/marketer to join the small but mighty team that oversees both channels. As a result, experience at a PR agency or an in-house PR team is a highly preferred.

Do you love PR and the strategy behind it? This role will manage the day-to-day relationship with our PR agency partners for our Firm and our lines of business, and also support the day-to-day Private Banking and Investor Services PR programs. We subscribe to an Insights Led Engagement strategy; we use thought leadership to demonstrate our expertise. The PR and Social Media Manager will help translate long-form thought leadership into platform-specific formats to reach members of the media and our social media audience. Key to the role is fielding incoming media requests with discretion and strategic selectivity and ensure spokespeople are prepared for media interviews. This role also supports our executive visibility program and business-related campaigns.

Do you know how to write a killer pitch? The PR and Social Media Manager will leverage BBH thought leadership and transition that long-form content into engaging pitches to media, supporting our PR agency in the coordination of interviews with BBH subject matter experts, and prepared spokespeople for interviews.

Do you enjoy developing new ways to give "legs" to media coverage? Once we earn coverage, the PR and Social Media Manager will support the amplification of that coverage on appropriate social media channels through posting on our corporate channels or leveraging our LinkedIn Business Users.

Do you thrive under deadline? This candidate knows how to get things done...on time. The person who fills this role will be able to meet established timelines, be sensitive to global cultural differences, and will be expected to safeguard confidential and highly sensitive information. The candidate must be able to work effectively across management levels, including with senior executives and key stakeholders, and be able to establish relationships with PR agency representatives and other external parties.

Do you have financial services experience? The services our Private Banking line of business provide for our clients can be nuanced; our Investor Services offering is technical. A strong candidate will have experience in the financial services sector so they can hit the ground running.
