Location Information
Five Star Senior Living's corporate headquarters are located in Newton, Massachusetts. Just 20 minutes outside of downtown Boston, the building features easy access to public transportation and the Massachusetts Turnpike.
Key Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Expand and grow Five Star Senior Living’s social media across the web. Create/source content for daily social media postings. Help create and administer training materials on social media best practices. Create quarterly editorial calendars and monthly email communications. Manage social media profiles for all communities. Assist with marketing projects as needed. Monitor and report on social media metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Social Media
    • Create and implement social media strategy and expand overall social media presence for the company
      • Increase and improve brand recognition and perception
      • Leverage social media to drive leads through FiveStarSeniorLiving.com
      • Manage claiming and administration of social media profiles
      • Create quarterly editorial calendars
      • Train community-level staff on social media best practices
  • Email Marketing
    • Create and distribute monthly and quarterly email communications to potential leads and family members
  • Support Corporate Marketing projects as needed:
    • Reporting
    • Branding initiatives
    • Video development
    • Marketing contests

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

BA in Marketing, Communications, or Liberal Arts

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Active, Valid Driver’s License

Minimum Qualifications:

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Expertise across social media channels
  • Ability to analyze and report on data, excellent written communications, general math skills, organization, data entry skills, Microsoft office skills, self-starter.
  • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with senior management, facility / community personnel and outside agencies
  • Must have the capacity to teach and mentor others.
  • Freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
  • Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in the position.
