MathWorks is seeking a Marketing Automation Architect to be part of our marketing automation team. The position's scope spans from maintaining current platform operations and integrations with business systems to delivery of new functional enhancements and definition of our next generation capabilities. You should have a deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Oracle Eloqua, Adobe Marketo, HubSpot, etc.) and data segmentation so MathWorks can implement and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain the marketing automation system to power targeted & personalized communications
  • Maintain and support integrations with Salesforce.com, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Test & Target, Data Warehouse, and RESTful API services
  • Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Product, Data Science, & Development) to successfully implement and realize cross-functional projects such as ABM, CX, Attribution, Personalization, and Targeting
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain marketing automation platform technical documentation
  • Recommend when to leverage existing Oracle Eloqua capabilities vs. Purchase vs. Build for new solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with Business Applications team related to the CRM integration and the next generation marketing analytics infrastructure
  • Recommend and implement audience segmentation strategies that incorporate available demographic and behavioral criteria from multiple sources within the marketing data ecosystem for optimal design and response
  • Drive marketing infrastructure and customization of the marketing automation platform including scoring, multi-touch drip nurture and broadcast emails, profiling, segmentation, workflows, and ROI reporting
  • Troubleshoot CRM errors, design and implement long-term solutions in accordance with existing requirements/structure
Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
Additional Qualifications
  • Good understanding of Web, CMS and related technologies
  • Ability to design and implement API integrations
  • Ability to drive success through data/system technology efficiencies
  • Ability to think logically and critically when troubleshooting along with a desire to grow your technical skill set
  • Problem solving ability and consideration of process improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with implementing and using a Customer Data Platform (CDP)
  • Experience with hybrid architectures, i.e. Cloud and On-Premise
  • Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle CRM experience is a plus
