As part of our Youth Center Team, you will help maintain a safe and supportive space to engage local youth in positive out-of-school activities.  The McPherson Center offers youth and teens a safe and fun place to hang out, shoot some pool, use the computer lab, play video games, get in a game of air hockey, and participate in programs, leagues and more!  On a regular day you will assist provide supervision at the youth center ensuring the safe, well-maintained, and fun local space is accessible to teens during after-school and weekend hours.   

To be successful in this role, you have strong decision-making skills are able to judge appropriately in response to questions and behaviors exhibited by teens. You understand Leadership and have experience working with youth or teens in structured programming that promotes life skills.

• Must be 21+ years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree or some college working toward a degree related to the development of youth and teens is preferred 
• Nights and weekend hours - Fridays from 3pm to 9pm and Saturdays from 2pm to 9pm. 
• Works well with Teens
