We are seeking a motivated and talented engineer who will contribute to testing new and exciting Simulink features. As a member of an energetic and innovative team you will have the opportunity to learn valuable software test automation skills while you help the team to deliver sophisticated Simulink features with high quality. The position requires working closely with the Development, Quality Engineering, and Documentation teams and occasionally with customer facing groups.
Responsibilities- Developing strategies for automated testing
- Authoring tools, harnesses and writing automated test suites
- Doing sweep testing using various techniques
- Reporting bugs and qualifying bug fixes
- Participating in design reviews and code reviews
- A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
- Demonstrated programming proficiency/experience in MATLAB or C/C++
- Experience with Simulink or Model Based Design software
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
