GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Associate Director, Global Medical Communication, Triple Combination will oversee the execution of the brand specific medical communication plan in collaboration with the Director, Triple Combination Medical Communications and Lead Medical Director.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS
He/she is responsible for overseeing the strategic execution of publication plan and the development of medical communication materials, including but not limited to field medical slide deck and frequently asked questions. The individual will work to ensure projects are resourced adequately and are tracking to the requested deadlines. Oversight of the publication plan (abstracts, presentations and manuscripts) will also the responsibility of the Associate Director, ensuring scientific integrity and balance. The Associate Director will also need to understand the needs of healthcare community and the education gaps that are important/prioritized to address with the materials being generated. The position will report into the Director, Triple Combination Medical Communications within the Global Medical Communications team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Manage the development and updates of the Triple Combination/CF scientific platform
*Manage the development and approval of materials as assigned and ensure alignment with the Triple Combination/CF scientific platform
* Support the development the Strategic Publication Plan
* Manage the development of publications as assigned in accordance with the Strategic Publication Plan ensuring compliance with good publication practices
* Liaise with internal and external authors in the development of publications in accordance with the Publication Policy
* Ability to think broadly about scientific communications and the impact on materials
* Ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal colleagues, including GMA leadership
* Liaise with Global Medical Strategy and Clinical Development groups to develop and maintain timely and relevant product expertise
* Perform critical analysis and synthesis of internal/external data
* Assists in the development/enhancement and implementation of policies, procedures, and processes for the department
* Ability to be independent, multitask and results oriented with hands-on attitude in a fast-paced and energetic environment
* Excellent written and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications :

* Advanced degree, doctorate level (PharmD, M.D. or Ph.D.) preferred but not required
* Experience in launch planning and execution of launch related Medical/Medical Communications Tactics
* 5+ years of relevant Medical Communications & Publications Experience
Medical Affairs Pharmaceutical Industry Experience
* Ability to work on multidisciplinary teams
